Easiest Chili Ever (cheap too) Everyone raves about my chili. The funny thing is it's not at all hard to make. Its quick, cheap, and hearty. So here you go: Ingredients: 1lb ground beef(or ground turkey) 1 onion (chopped) 2 cans of Del Monte chili flavored tomatoes 2 cans of chili beans 1 beer (stouts are good but any beer will work) 1 chili seasoning packet of your choice OR you can mix it all up yourself using: 2 tbsp chili powder 1/2 tsp cumin 1 tsp garlic powder (or to taste) 1 tsp salt 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (if you like it hot) So brown the beef and just before its done add in the chopped onion. Drain. Toss those into a pot, add the tomatoes and the beans, the seasonings, and the whole bottle of beer and let them simmer for about 30 min or more (depending on your patience) if you like it a little thicker, use a stout beer or mix a tsp of corn starch in some water and pour the mixture in with the other ingredients. It's great for when you want chili that tastes like it took forever, but took very little effort or time. Also makes great leftovers.
